Je suis Louis-Xavier Aubin-Bérubé de la nation des wolastoqiyik. Je viens de la communauté de Wahsipekuk.
Gradué en Science social profil première nation, la langue wolastoqey m’a toujours intéressé. J’enseigne présentement à ma communauté des cours d’introduction à la langue wolastoqey. J’ai étudié la langue 2 ans à Fredericton dans le programme Wetapeksultiyoq. Je souhaite dans le futur pouvoir créer avec mes collègues de Kehkimin une première école d’immersion pour les jeunes wolastoqiyik.
My name is Louis-Xavier Aubin-Bérubé I am a proud Wolastoqewi (Maliseet) and Québecois from the Wahsipekuk community in Québec.
I Graduated in First nation social science and the Wolastoqey language has always interested me. I am currently teaching introductory Wolastoqey language classes in my community. I studied the language for 2 years in Fredericton in the Wetapeksultiyoq program. In the future, I hope to be able to create with my colleagues from Kehkimin a first immersion school for our young Wolastoqiyik.
